The general accessibility features of Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre include:
Companion Cards
We offer free entry to the companion that accompanies a Companion Card Holder into our facility. The Companion Card must be sighted at each visit.
Wheelchairs
We have aquatic wheelchairs available for use whilst at the centre. Please see a friendly team member if you require a wheelchair.
Pool Access
All pools have ramp access so that people of varying abilities can enter the water safely.
Health Club
Consideration has been given to the gym equipment in the centre’s Health Club to ensure that we have gym equipment that caters to people in wheelchairs.
Change Villages
All change villages have Universal Access Toilets. The centre will also have a dedicated accessible ‘Changing Places’ room equipped with a full size change table, hoist, shower and toilet to meet the needs of patrons with severe disabilities. The Changing Places room will be situated adjacent to the Program Pool for convenience.
