July 2026 Centre Upgrades

In July 2026, Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre completed a major facility upgrade, delivering brand new Technogym Health Club equipment, including the introduction of the innovative Biostrength range, the transformation of the former Omnia Studio into the new Active Studio, and the installation of new dry side access gates to improve security and member access to the Health Club and Group Fitness areas.

The project also included the installation of new aquatic entry gates, featuring a two entry, one exit configuration to improve accessibility into the Aquatics area. These upgrades further enhance the member experience and demonstrate the City of Armadale's ongoing commitment to investing in modern, high quality recreation facilities for the community.

AFAC Opens to the Community

Funding for the $26 million upgrade comprised of $10 million from the Federal Government’s Community Development Grants program, $1 million from the WA State Government and the majority of funding from the City of Armadale.

To cater for the community’s recreation, leisure and social needs the centre includes an all season 25 metre pool, indoor leisure pool, program pool, outdoor 50 metre pool, zero depth Splash Pad, crèche, café, gym and group fitness rooms.
