Monthly Health Club Challenge

Staying motivated and committed to your fitness journey can be challenging. Sometimes a bit of friendly competition can be just what you need to shake up your fitness routine. Unleash your competitive spirit and join our monthly Health Club challenge to push yourself that extra bit and smash your fitness goals! 

Challenges are exclusive to members only and details are available each month on the MyWellness app or through the Technogym kiosks in the Health Club. Speak to our friendly Gym Instructors if you need a hand getting started.

Armadale Ladies Netball Competition

Ladies of Armadale, let's have some fun whilst getting fit with the new season of ladies netball commencing on Monday 20th July at the Armadale Arena. The social netball competition will run every Monday evening with games played between 6pm to 9pm. The competition is run by Seville Dragons.

Monthly Creche Party

Treat the kids to an exciting morning of song and dance, party games, art and crafts and get creative with fancy dress. 
Bring along some yummy party food to share with the group for morning tea.
Drop the kids off with peace of mind that they will be cared for in a clean and safe environment.

Don’t delay in completing a registration before the event as numbers are strictly limited. Register your interest at the creche reception.

TriActive Series 2

Have you always wanted to give a triathlon a go?      

This program targets adults looking to take on a new challenge and beginning or returning to regular physical activity. Participants may come from a single discipline (swim, bike, run) or simply embark on TRIactive as fresh challenge in the pursuit of ongoing health and well-being. The program celebrates the tagline “finish lines…not finish times” referring to  achievement being centre on finishing without any priority to time.

TRIactive is a six-week, twice-weekly, group exercise program for beginner triathletes. It is about having a go and encouraging participation in triathlon in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment.

This program will take place in February and March in the lead up to the Coogee Beach Triathlon/Duathlon that will be held at Coogee Beach on 28 March 2021.

Start Date: Saturday, 13 February 2021

Finish Date: Monday, 29 March 2021

Program Fees:

  • AFAC members $99 + booking fee
  • Non-members $159 + booking fee 

Registration closes on Thursday 11 February 2021

Please note entry to Coogee Beach Triathlon/Duathlon is not included in the program fee.

Resuscitation Course

The Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID001 training course will develop the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the lifesaving techniques of CPR on an adult and an infant. It includes the use of a defibrillator (AED) and is a nationally recognised qualification.

The HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course is suitable for anyone who needs a CPR qualification for their job or workplace.

Make your Move Multisports Program

The Make your Move Multisport program is perfect for all people who are yet to discover their passion for sports.

During this 7-week program, people of all abilities and ages will be provided a fun and safe environment where they can develop skills, enhance self-esteem and meet other people.

Free sausage sizzle provided.

Please ensure that you wear comfortable clothing, shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Pool Lifeguard Course

Australian Lifeguards are world-renowned for their high levels of skill and knowledge in accident prevention and rescue response. The current minimum industry requirement for employment as a Pool Lifeguard at a Swimming Pool or Aquatic Facility is the Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Skill Set. This course will provide participants with skills and knowledge in accident prevention, first aid, administration, public relations, education, scanning, communications, basic and advanced water rescues.

Pool Lifeguard Requalification

Pool Lifeguard Awards are valid for one year from the date of your assessment. A Pool Lifeguard requires a high degree of judgment, knowledge, skill and fitness in both day to day guarding and the stress of an emergency. Regular update training helps sustain the lifeguard's confidence and ability to prevent accidents and respond competently when they occur.

Children’s First Aid Course

Royal Life Saving Society WA is holding a one day first aid training course is designed specifically for kids aged between 8-12, and includes fun, interactive activities to teach children skills that will equip them to assist in an emergency situation anywhere, anytime.
